What you are buying, and what it does not promise

01What you are buying

A run of our release gate against an agent endpoint you supply, producing a verdict, the failed criteria behind it, bounded evidence, and — for a completed run — a shareable attestation anyone can verify without an account.

02What a verdict is not

This is the most important section on the page, and it is the same boundary printed on the landing page and beside the prices.

• Not a certification. No body accredits it, including us.
• Not legal, regulatory or compliance approval of your agent or your business.
• Not a universal safety guarantee. It is evidence about one tested scope, at one point in time, produced by the checks you selected.
• Not a substitute for your own testing, review or judgement about whether to ship.

A release-candidate verdict means your agent passed the checks we ran. It does not mean your agent is safe, and you must not represent it as meaning that. Misrepresenting a verdict as a certification is a breach of these terms and grounds for us to revoke the attestation.

03What you must be entitled to connect

• You must own the agent endpoint you connect, or have permission from whoever does.
• You must be entitled to send us the credentials you supply, and to have us use them to call that endpoint.
• You are responsible for what your agent discloses in its answers. Connect a staging endpoint, or one pointed at synthetic data, unless you are content for those answers to be graded by a third-party model — see the privacy page.
• Do not use the gate to attack, load-test or probe an endpoint you do not control.

04Points, charges and refunds

How a run is charged

Points are reserved when a run starts and settled when it finishes.

If your agent fails the checks

The run is charged. A failing verdict is a result, and producing it cost the same as producing a passing one.

If the measurement fails

The reservation is refunded. Our infrastructure, our provider or a setup fault is our problem, not something to bill you for. The distinction is drawn by the system, not by a support decision.

Monthly quota

Points granted with a subscription expire at the end of the period. Points bought with money do not expire.

Cancelling

Cancel any time; the subscription runs to the end of the paid period. We do not refund unused quota, because quota is what you bought.

05Availability

There is no uptime commitment on the self-serve plans, and we are not going to invent one. The service runs in a single region with no failover; an outage stops runs. If you need a service level, that is what the enterprise engagement is for.

06Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for what your agent does, before or after a run, or for any decision you take on the strength of a verdict.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or our own fraud.

07Changes

If these terms change materially we will say so before the change takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will move. Attestations already issued are never altered — that is the point of signing them.
